That's because the beef used in the U.S. are from cows under 20 months. (99% of mad cow disease were found in cows over 30 months. The problem here is, the beef export going into S. Korea will be cows under 30 months (too close!) instead of the safe 20 months. That's outrageous!
(미국 내에서 소비되는 쇠고기는 스무개월 미만인 소들이야.(광우병의 99%는 서른개월 이상의 소에서 발견됐지.) 여기서 문제는 남한에서 진행될 쇠고기 수출은 안전한 스무개월의 소 대신에 서른 개월에 미만에 (아주 가까운!) 소들이야. 정말 사악하군!!)

This is immoral agreement to trade U.S beefs to Korea. Cow materials older than 30 months can not even be used as pet foods or other animal foods. But they would be traded into Korea. Does it make sense to do so? How to sell the foods that can not be eaten and used anywhere to others?!!!
(미국 쇠고기 거래는 한국에 대한 부도덕한 합의다. 서른개월 이상의 소는 애완용 사료와 다른 동물 사료로도 사용되지 않는다. 그러나 미국은 한국에 매매하려고 한다. 과연 그게 상식적인 일인가? 다른 곳에서는 먹지도 않고 이용되지도 않는 것들을 어떻게 팔 수 있는가?!!!)
